It was some 40 years ago when Dr. N. P. Singh a Professor of Chemistry at M.L.K.(P.G.) College Balrampur has started dispensing homoeopathic medicine as a hobby to their friends. It was beauty of homoeopathy, his enthusiasm and hard study of homoeopathic literature which makes him very popular between his colleagues and in town. Later he served humanity by pening a charitable homoeopathic dispensary at Avadhoot Bhagwan Ram Ashram at Balrampur on every Friday which is still running by Dr.Amar Singh. Patients from many Districts of eastern U.P. got benefited from acne to cancer. He was very famous for Cancer and Stone treatment.

In 1995 he opened a Homoeopathic clinic at Balrampur not for economical gain but as a clinical training centre for their sons as they were started graduation in Homoeopathy by that time.

              Perhaps his love for homoeopathy has enforced him that all his 3 sons and 2 daughter in law are homoeopath. In his family homoeopathy is a religion. Last year after his retirement he has shifted from Balrampur to Lucknow, again his love for homoeopathy has motivated to name his house as HOMOEO AROGYA NIKETAN

Still he is serving for homoeopathy and opened a clinic at His residence.
